Iced Matcha Green Tea with Pineapple Juice

Friday, May 25, 2012

Day Two of a pastry work in progress,

which does not yet have a name.

But what is it?

Easier at this point to say what it is not

not Rugelach, not Hamantaschen, not any kind of 'pocket'

['pocket' is the lowest form of a name for any pastry

in the history of pastry-making. pockets are for pants].

So what's in it? It is a Marscapone-based dough with a

filling of raspberry jam, a little chocolate and walnuts.

p.s. someone needs to make a candle scent from the smell

of raspberry jam baking.
