SUPER BOWL HOT CHOCOLATE

"Super Bowl Hot Chocolate" means beer hot chocolate, as in, City Bakery hot chocolate made with beer [a simple enough proposition].  Many years ago, that flavor combination raised eyebrows. These days, a yawn. Still, it's a delicious drink, and this year made more so because we're using beer from each of the two cities playing in the game, and both cities happen to be stupendous places for good beer. Representing Denver, Yeti Imperial Stout from the Great Divide Brewing Company [above, left] and from the Emerald City of Seattle, an espresso-influenced Stout from Elysian Brewing. We'll begin pouring this when the clock strikes 12 noon today.
