PORTRAIT IN HOT CHOCOLATE CALM

Here's a pro at work: For the second Saturday in a row, Kevin O'Connor

is settled in at our hot chocolate station pouring a river of hot chocolate

with the greatest of ease. This is not a task for the meek. It takes focus,

coordination, resolve and an unrelenting elbow. In years past, we've had

staff take 1-2 hour turns at this position, which is only fair for a task this

intense.  But last week, once Kevin started, he never stopped. He ran the

table on the day [about 1,000 HC's served] and turned in a performance

I can't recall any other City Bakery staffer ever matching in that spot.

An ironman hot chocolate effort.
