Today's festival flavor is "Happy" Hot Chocolate.

It's a combination of our Milk Chocolate Hot Chocolate with

vanilla beans, a relative youngster on our menu at only

three years old. This is a flavor that defines friendly: soft,

slightly sweet and creamy.  For the uninitiated to

City Bakery hot chocolate, it's a perfect first-time flavor.

At 9:30 this morning, on the mezzanine, two women

were having breakfast and both ordered "Happy." They

took their first sips in unison, put down their mugs,

stared at each other with eyebrows lifted, smiled big

smiles, then said absolutely nothing before taking second

sips. For me, watching, that was the greatest response.
